Scope and Content: 
This series of laws consists of revised compilations of ordinances (called acts after 1962). Each edition contains the relevant ordinances/ acts passed before their publication. The ordinances / acts are grouped together under chapters and vary in number of volumes for each edition. These statutes govern the legal system of Trinidad and Tobago. Included in this series also, are laws that were intended to govern the West Indian Federation of ten (10) islands of the region planned in 1958 but never executed. Included are laws of Trinidad existing in 1884 – which pre-dates its union with Tobago in 1888.
